Formé le 31 décembre 2005, Eepocampe explore un univers musical aux limites clairement identifiables, pour tenter de parvenir à quelque chose d'inexploité. Le groupe approche chaque composition de manière progressive où mélodies harmonieuses flirtent avec des rythmiques alternatives. L'instrumentalisation enivrante laisse place de temps à autres à l'expression vocale qui retranscrit alors le message poétique et émotionnel qui ne pourrait s'exprimer autrement que par la voix.
Antony Lourdel, Alexis Medina et Anthony Wailly composent ce trio qui puise son essence dans les racines du Post-Rock tout en sachant s'affranchir de ses codes. Après avoir passé une année entière à composer quelques titres, les trois amis d'enfance nous offrent en 2008, leur premier album intitulé "Day after day all takes another way". Cet opus leur permet de se produire dans le nord de la France et ainsi gagner en visibilité et accroître leur expérience scénique.
Quelques mois plus tard, un booker nord américain contacte le groupe pour organiser une tournée au Japon. Eepocampe s'y rendra pour neuf concerts du 26 octobre au 5 novembre 2008 qui auront lieu dans des salles de Tokyo et alentours.
A leur retour, ils se produiront à l'Aéronef de Lille en première partie d'Extra Life (US). Désormais, Eepocampe a terminé son second album autoproduit "When Things get abstract". Ils retournent à ce qu'ils aiment le plus... la chaleur du public des salles de concerts !

Formed the 31st December 2005, Eepocampe explores a clearly, well-delimited musical universe, and brings us a sound that is not usually exploited. Their compositions come out in a progressive way where harmonious melodies come with alternative rhythm sections. The exhilarating arrangements sometimes gives way to the vocal expression to express the poetic and emotional message, a message that can only be expressed by words.
Antony Lourdel, Alexis Medina and Anthony Wailly make up this band, which gets its substance into the roots of Post Rock music, but well-knowing to free themselves from its code. After having passed a year to wrote music, these childhood friends give us in 2008, their first attempt as an album: "Day after day all takes another way". This LP allows them to make themselves known more and more and to widen their scenic experience.
An American booking agency hears about them and contacts the band to make a tour in Japan. A tour of 9 dates is planned from October 26th till November 5th, 2008 in Tokyo's underground venues.
Beside playing many others concerts in France, Eepocampe have done their new LP "When Things get abstract" releases the 5th October 2011. So they're back in action to do what they love most... feeling the audience's warmth of music places !
